On Jan. 10, Ainsley Thomas attended a multi-day conference that brought together SUNY’s Chief Diversity Officers on the University at Albany campus.
The gathering addressed the role of Chief Diversity Officers on college campuses and how the SUNY system can support them. It was also an opportunity for many of the new CDOs to meet Ricardo Nazario y Colon, Ed.D., who is the SUNY System’s senor vice chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and chief diversity officer. He also a Hudson Valley Community College alumnus.
