SUNY Presidential Approval Expected Today

Edited at June 3, 9:58 a.m. with Public Session III

Dear Campus Community,

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to each of you for your ongoing support throughout the past year. As the college navigated a period of leadership transition, your commitment to our mission and one another remained a source of strength and stability.

I am pleased to share that the State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees expects to approve the appointment of the college’s next president during its Board Meeting Public Session III this afternoon. Please view the SUNY Board Meeting information page for meeting materials and livestream details. I will share more information following SUNY’s approval.

The college will host a reception for the new president tomorrow, June 4, in the Marvin Library Café from 9 to 10 a.m. for members of the campus community. I hope you will be able to join us.

As we look ahead to welcoming a new president, I wish to share sincere gratitude with our faculty for their enduring support of our students. I also want to extend heartfelt thanks to the administration and Officer in Charge Louis Coplin, for their tireless efforts in guiding the college through this transitional period.

Thank you once again for all you do. Your contributions are greatly appreciated and will continue to shape the success of Hudson Valley for years to come.

Sincerely,

Neil Kelleher, Chair

On behalf of the Board of Trustees
