SUNY’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Conference is scheduled for Nov. 3 and 4 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Albany.
This year’s conference theme, Building Toward Equity & Excellence, hopes to bring together representatives from all 64 SUNY campuses to share best practices and programs that work to increase the awareness, enthusiasm, access, retention and graduation of students from diverse backgrounds in STEM majors.
STEM 2011 also will include presentations by HVCC faculty members Nancy Cupolo and Tamu Chambers.
