SUNY’s Got Your Back is seeking volunteers during the Aurora Games women’s sports competition upcoming Aug. 20 to 25 at the Times Union Center in Albany. The inaugural games will feature world-class competition in figure skating, tennis, beach volleyball, ice hockey and table tennis.
The Aurora Games will welcome SUNY’s Got Your Back volunteers to assemble comfort bags for victims and survivors of violence each night of Aurora Games events.
This will be an incredible opportunity to meet famous athletes, greet thousands of attendees, and help assemble thousands of comfort bags for New Yorkers in need! Thank you for helping SUNY’s Got Your Back with this program. Space is limited, so if you wish to participate, please register today.
Your information will be submitted to Aurora Games officials for free credentials. Volunteers do not need to pay admission. Volunteers must arrive for training one hour before gates open. SUNY’s Got Your Back will provide program t-shirts for volunteers to wear throughout their time at the games.
