The campus community is invited to the annual Community Athletics Day from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the McDonough Sports Complex.
The event will feature a double-header basketball game with the men’s and women’s team playing against their Region 3 rival Herkimer County Community College.
Plus Madison VanDenburg, who wowed audiences as an “American Idol” finalist in 2019, will sing the National Anthem before both games!
The day also marks the official unveiling of the new gymnasium floor and new athletic department team logo.
There will be free refreshments, caricature artists and free ice skating from noon to 2 pm (skate rentals $3).
Tip-off for the men’s game is at 1 p.m., followed by the women’s game at 3 p.m.
