More confused than ever about recycling plastic? PBS Frontline recently aired “Plastic Wars” which revealed some of the basis for this confusion and it isn’t pretty.
It seems with oil prices going down, oil companies see more future profits in producing chemicals (such as plastic).
- So why recycle when they want to produce more?
- What does that mean to our environment?
