Area restaurants will serve tempting samples of their best fare when the Malta Business & Professional Association (MBPA) hosts the 8th annual Taste of Malta on Tuesday, July 19 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at TEC-SMART, located at 345 Hermes Rd. in Malta.
Proceeds from the event support the Ballston Spa Partnership for Innovation in Education Fund. To date, the MBPA has donated over $13,000 to the fund that supports several Ballston Spa Central School District initiatives, including the Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College in High School (Clean Tech ECHS) held at Hudson Valley Community College’s TEC-SMART facility.
Participating restaurants includes Panza’s, Dock Brown’s, Bentley’s, Angelo’s Prime Bar + Grill, Campagna Restaurant, Dunning Street Station, Lake Ridge, Jimmy’s Pizza & Pasta, Leah’s Cakery and Pasta Pane Rustic Italian Bistro and more! A cash bar offers wine, beer and soda.
In addition, the event features the popular “Dinner For A Year Raffle (gift certificates from 12 local eateries!) and a gift basket raffle table.
Admission is $15 per adult, $5 per child (ages 6-12) or $40 per family (two adults, three children). Please click here to reserve tickets. Tickets also will be available at the door.
