The Teacher Preparation Department welcomes the campus community to attend a professional development opportunity on Monday, Sept. 24 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Higbee Hall, room 100.
Join in theatrical skits, games, lecture, and simulation activities to learn more about children with disabilities. Opportunities will be given to assess your own understanding and assumptions about teaching children with disabilities. Participants will leave with a plethora of teaching strategies and ideas that can modified to work in diverse classroom settings.
