The Department of Fine Arts, Theatre Arts & Broadcast Communications is pleased to announce that Tara Fracalossi, instructor and Teaching Gallery director, is a recipient of a Museumwise Individual Achievement Award of Merit.
In its announcement of the award, Museumwise noted: “The reviewers applauded Tara’s impressive record of commitment and success in bringing arts programming to HVCC and believe her work reflects an increased impact on the field through her graduating students.”
Museumwise is a statewide organization dedicated to providing resources, training and expertise to help New York’s museums. Awards of Merit are given to institutions or individuals whose project/work represent outstanding contributions in their category and excellence compared to similar activities throughout New York State.
The award will be presented on Sunday, April 22 at the Children’s Museum in Troy in conjunction with the Museumwise Museums in Conversation Convention.
