This Saturday, Oct. 1, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) hosts a public viewing of sustainable homes and buildings throughout the Northeast.
Last year nearly 500 locations were toured by 10,000 visitors. This year the college’s TEC-SMART facility at 345 Hermes Road in Malta will be featured on the tour. All are welcome on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come learn how clean, renewable energy is used in the building and sustainability is being taught to HVCC students.

Recently TEC-SMart recieved LEED Platinum Certification, the highest standard for exceptional leadership in building design in energy efficiency and and energy conservation.
