Hudson Valley Community College has engaged the services of CampusWorks, a highly regarded consulting firm that works exclusively with higher education institutions, to conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of the current state of technology, broadly defined, at the college and develop a campus technology strategic plan that ensures the college continues to be a leader in the deployment of current and emerging technologies in the future. The team from Campus Works will examine organization, planning, staffing levels, information security, infrastructure, and deployment (including hardware and software), as well as key academic and administrative business processes.
As part of this review, the CampusWorks consultants will be on campus January 26 through 29 to speak with individuals and groups, including students, regarding the issues, concerns, insights, and questions they have regarding technology at our college.
The student focus group is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Marvin Library Learning Commons Multipurpose Room, located on the second floor. If possible, please take the time to attend and share your views and opinions as they are a very important part of the review process.
