Just a reminder, the Visioning workshops being conducted by CampusWorks as part of a comprehensive review and assessment of the current state of technology, broadly defined, at the college will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium and Friday, Dec. 12 from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. in the Siek Campus Center, room 204.
The Thursday afternoon session will cover current trends in technology and the things Hudson Valley needs to consider as its moves forward with its strategic technology planning. Friday morning will be a discussion of what the student experience currently is at Hudson Valley and the afternoon will be a discussion of what we’d like the student experience to be (“As Is” vs “To Be”). Friday’s sessions will involve participants working in small groups in order to facilitate the conversation.
In order for this workshop to be successful, we need to have as many people as possible — faculty, staff, and students — attend, especially both sessions on Friday. Your insights and opinions will be greatly appreciated and extremely useful to the technology review process.
