As we wind down the fall semester and look toward spring, the Admission’s Office is helping those who are interested in beginning or continuing their education this upcoming year. Any prospective students interested in starting a degree or just taking a few courses are welcome to stop by the Office of Admissions and the Office of Continuing Education in Guenther Hall during regular business hours.
Our final Instant Admission Day of the year is next Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Prospective students can be admitted on the spot and take advantage of the assistance provided by Financial Aid in completing their FAFSA form.
I know this is a busy season for all, but I encourage the entire HVCC community to help us close the gap this spring, so I’m asking that, as you meet with friends and family; talk with the clerk at your local convenience store; or chat with a stranger on the bus ride home, tell them about the incredible opportunities available at Hudson Valley Community College.
Maybe even mention our upcoming Instant Admit Day on Dec. 15, or suggest they visit us for Instant Admit Week in the New Year from Monday, Jan. 10 thru Friday, Jan. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m..
You never know how much a few words of encouragement might change a person’s mind and help them jump-start a new career or dreams of a college degree.
Happy holidays,
Julie Panzanaro and the Admissions Team
