I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to my HVCC family and friends. Your support and immeasurable kindness has been a blessing to me and my family. To those of you who made a point to do things both big and small to care for mine and Ken’s well-being throughout his illness, I can’t find the words to properly thank you enough for your love and support. You spent so much time checking on me, listening to me, allowing me to cry, being supportive of me, talking with me, sending me words of encouragement, cooking for us, and just generally being there for us throughout Ken’s illness. Please know that you helped make what seemed unbearable at times, possible to get through, and there are not enough words to thank you for making that huge difference in our lives. Our entire family would like to thank all of you for your overall support—your prayers, thoughts, visits, cards, food, plants, flowers, phone calls, kind words and donations in Ken’s honor to High Peaks Hospice.
