On Saturday, May 3rd, Chief Diversity Officer, Ainsley Thomas and Interim EOC Director, Alton Campbell attended a community event organized by the Albany Black Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together high school and college students, campus leaders, and businesses from across the Capital Region to share information, build community, and celebrate the future of the city. The event had student led panels sharing information on navigating college careers, and seeking out internships in the community. There were also leadership insights from higher education representatives and local business owners. The event culminated with lunch and additional networking opportunities.
