Joann has been with the college for over five years. In her time at Hudson Valley Community College, Joann always has been keenly interested in her professional and personal development. She completed the Certificate of Leadership in May 2010 and is now proud to have completed her Advising Certificate. Her first endeavor at the college was as a Coordinator of RealJOBS NY, a program to assist community members living in need to acquire the skills necessary for gainful employment. As the grant was ending, the opportunity to work as an advisor in Continuing Education continued her expertise in guiding individuals in the selection of a course of study and the necessary steps to achieve their goals. She is now advising students in Engineering & Industrial Technology and helping them realize their goals.
