On June 30, the Foundation completed its fiscal year. On behalf of the Foundation staff and Board of Directors, I’d like to thank the entire campus community for its support, generosity and partnership.
With your help, the Foundation contributed $695,544.37 to the college between September 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014 as follows:
— $457,808.97 to support academic programs, including $88,381.42 for the School of Engineering and Industrial Technologies, $245,703.80 for the School of Health Sciences and $122,573.75 for the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences — primarily for construction of the Science Center Greenhouse.
— $217,410.43 to support scholarships, including $5,050 for departmental awards, $65,000 for the HonorScholar program and $26,000 for the Second Chance Scholarship program.
— $20,324.97 to support the Marvin Library Learning Commons and other student-centered initiatives.
We could not do all of this without the support and partnership of the entire campus. Thank you and have a great summer.
Ray
