HVCC’s Division of Workforce Development and Community Education partnered with several local colleges and organizations to host a free symposium to help educate local employers about hiring and working with recently incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals who are reentering the workforce.

New York State Governor Kathy Hochul held a “State of the State for Future Leaders” event on campus to connect with local high school and college students.

HVCC was excited to welcome Rosalyn D. Elder to the BTC Auditorium to present the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture for Black History Month.

Faculty, staff, students and community members gathered at the McDonough Sports Complex to celebrate the annual Louis Coplin Community Day, raising more than $600 in donations for Coaches vs. Cancer. After the women’s game, a special presentation honored Mike Long, head coach of the Vikings men’s basketball team, for becoming the winningest coach in program history. Congratulations, Coach Long!

Members of the Student Art League, Graphic Design Club and Darkroom Club at HVCC worked together to present “How We Get Here,” an exhibition featuring work in all media.

Thirty-three members of the Dental Hygiene Class of 2025 took part in a White Coat Ceremony on Monday, Feb. 3. This rite of passage for students in healthcare professions signifies their entry into clinical practice.

HVCC was thrilled to welcome Juanito Pascual and Jose Moreno for an incredible live performance at the BTC Auditorium!

Excelsior University and Hudson Valley Community College have announced an expanded partnership agreement that creates new educational pathways for Hudson Valley graduates to earn an Excelsior University degree.

Shakespeare & Company of Lenox, MA theater workshops.

HVCC was thrilled to host the renowned Shakespeare & Company of Lenox, MA, for a performance of “Macbeth”

Students attended the Club Fair at the Campus Center, exploring the wide variety of clubs the college has to offer.

As part of an ongoing initiative to support the development of a Biotechnology pathway at the Questar III and HVCC STEM High School, Hudson Valley faculty members Dr. Donna Barron and Dr. Julie Friot recently introduced 25 freshman and sophomore students to a variety of lab techniques that are essential skills in the biotechnology field.
