On Sunday, Oct. 13, thousands of people will join in the Dempsey Challenge, presented by Amgen, a bicycle tour and run/walk event designed to raise both cancer awareness and funds for The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing.
I will be riding in the 50-mile bike ride in honor of my friends and family, who have fought cancer and won and for those who lost their battles leaving us to continue the fight.
