The Theatre Club is changing its meeting day from Fridays to Mondays, now meeting on Mondays 2-3pm in hold its first meeting on Friday, Feb. 11 from 2 to 3 p.m. This meeting will be held in the lobby of the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, which is located in the Siek Campus Center.
All HVCC students are invited and welcome to join the Theatre Club, a student-run organization under the advisement of Professor Julie Demers. The club will be looking for club officers: president, vice president, secretary and treasurer.
In the past, the club has practiced theater warm-ups and performed improv activities, as well as run bake sales and held other fundraising efforts. In the spring semesters, the club has also produced a student-run, student-written original one-act play festival, which the HVCC campus community looks forward to.
