This week in athletics — Dec. 6 – Dec. 12
Men’s Basketball: The men’s basketball team had a busy week as they finished 2-2 during the four games last week. The men defeated Springfield Tech, 90-75, Tuesday on the road and then defeated Cayuga at home on Saturday, 89-66. The two games the men dropped were both home games — vs. Onondaga, 99-84, on Wednesday and Genesee, 77-62, on Sunday. The men’s team has one final home game before the winter break on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. vs. Tompkins Cortland.
Women’s Basketball: The women’s basketball program also finished the week 2-2 with wins over the same programs as the men’s team. The women defeated Springfield Tech, 73-63, and Cayuga, 64-56, and dropped tough matches against Onondaga, 75-40, and Genesee 72-64. The women’s team has one final home game before the winter break on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. vs. Tompkins Cortland.
