Baseball: Baseball closed out the regular season with a season sweep of Adirondack over the weekend. The team is poised to clinch a No. 3 seed in the upcoming NJCAA Region 3 playoffs and will travel to face either Niagara or Erie for a best-of-three series on Saturday, May 14. The matchups will be finalized on Wednesday, May 11.
Softball: The softball team has now won 14 straight games after it completed the series sweep of Onondaga over the weekend. Team members hit the road on Tuesday for a tough matchup with Mohawk Valley and could claim a No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the NJCAA Region 3 playoffs. The softball team has an opportunity to host a best-of-three series on Saturday, May 14.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field: The men’s and women’s track and field programs both earned second-place finishes at the 2022 NJCAA Region 3 Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY. In the first season of competition since 2019, the women’s program earned 139 points and placed behind the Region 3 Champions, SUNY Broome (177 points). The men also placed second, after winning the championship in 2018 and 2019, posting 191 points. Finger Lakes won the men’s title with 207 points.
