Men’s Lacrosse
The Hudson Valley Community College men’s lacrosse (4-3) finished last week with a 2-0 record after historic wins over Tompkins Cortland and Monroe. The Vikings lacrosse program defeated Tompkins Cortland for the first time since 2013, including post-season defeats in the last two seasons. The Vikings also earned a 16-14 win over Monroe, marking the first win over the Tribunes since 2009.

Basebal
The baseball team was dominant this weekend with a series sweep over Schenectady in their home opener on Saturday. The Vikings offense powered the team to 15-0 and 18-1 wins over the rival Royals.

Track and Field
The men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to the Mount Saint Mary’s College Invitational in Newburgh. The men earned 101 points after 15 events and finished in second place behind Queens College, a division II program. The women also had a very strong showing as they finished in eighth place with 25 points. In total, there were 16 teams represented in this meet for both the men and women.
