Cross Country will be participating in the annual conference meet Saturday, Oct. 21 on the campus of SUNY Adirondack. The cross country team was off this last weekend and did not participate in any events.
Football (1-5) will be home on Saturday, Oct. 21 to face Monroe College at 2 p.m. Football also was off last weekend and did not play.
Men’s Soccer (8-6) lost a pair of tough match-ups last week with a 3-2 loss at home to Broome on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and a 6-1 loss on the road at Onondaga on Saturday, Oct. 14. Men’s soccer has two games left in the 2017 regular season with games at Bergen on Oct. 17 and home against Jefferson on Sunday, Oct. 22.
Women’s Soccer (9-4) has now won five straight games after winning twice last week. Women’s soccer defeated Broome, 4-0, at home on Oct. 11, marking the first time the Vikings have defeated Broome during Coach Pokines’ 13-year tenure. Women’s soccer also defeated Onondaga, 2-0, on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Women’s soccer has two games left in the 2017 regular season with games at Bergen on Oct. 17 and home against Jefferson on Sunday, Oct. 22.
Women’s Volleyball (8-13) competed in its final pod tournament of the 2017 season on Saturday as North Country hosted the pod at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Volleyball defeated Mohawk Valley in straight sets, but was unable to earn wins over Herkimer and Fulton-Montgomery, losing both matches in 3-2 in five sets. Volleyball has its final home game Monday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. Volleyball concludes the 2017 season on Thursday, Oct. 18 at Orange Community College.
