Men’s and Women’s Bowling
The men’s program placed seventh out of 22 qualifying institutions and finished ahead of fellow Region 3 opponents in Herkimer, Erie, Mohawk Valley, Corning and Schenectady. The men jumped deeper into the top-10 standings after three solid blocks of Baker games after starting the final day in 10th place.
For the women placed 14th overall despite a limited roster. The team was only allowed to bowl 12 games and had to sit out the Baker game portion because they only had four members on the team. The women’s team still nearly defeated two programs, who bowled 21 total games at full strength, compared to the Vikings 12 games.
Men’s Lacrosse
Hudson Valley Community College men’s lacrosse team opened the 2020 season with an 18-7 loss to nationally ranked Mercer on Saturday, March 7 at the Outdoor Athletic Complex on the campus of Hudson Valley Community College.
