Professor Thomas Lail, a member of the Fine Arts, Theatre Arts and Digital Media Department faculty, has earned his Level 1 Alpine Ski Instructor certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA).
PSIA certification is awarded through a 12-hour, two-day on-snow examination covering individual ski technique, movement analysis, skill categories and teaching ability. The examination was held Dec. 14 and 15 at Hunter Mountain in the Catskills.
