Thoughts from Campus Ministry: Success

The end of the school year is upon us. The end is so close, yet there are a million things on our to-do lists: studying for finals, preparing for graduation, making plans for the summer or next fall, looking for work, tutoring students, grading papers and more. Getting to the end seems like a daunting task.

Somehow though we get through one task at a time, one paper at a time, one exam at a time. Stress is undoubtedly high, but feelings of accomplishment are not far behind. At the end of it all our students, especially our graduates, will proudly celebrate their successes. Our students, staff and faculty will receive well deserved recognition for their hard work.

As we celebrate our successes, let us remember that success is not achieved by doing big things, but by finding meaning in the things you do, big or small. May your life be full of success. May you find purpose, joy and satisfaction in all you do. May you welcome the ordinary days, the extraordinary days and the days when you fall short — they are all essential to being successful.

Peace and Blessings.
