A exhibition featuring work by AJ Jones and Jahniah Kum, who received degrees in Fine Arts in May 2021 and May 2020, respectively, opened June 11 at Pause Gallery, located at 501 Broadway #106 in downtown Troy.
A third Fine Arts graduate, Joel Olzak, who received his degree in May 2018, was included in an outdoor exhibition entitled “Owning Earth,” at Unison Arts in New Paltz that featured the work of 24 artists.
Jones and Kum were classmates in Advanced Study in Drawing and Painting, taught by Professor Thomas Lail, during the Spring 2020 semester when classes were shifted abruptly to remote access due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
