The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will host a 10-week Embracing Diversity Training for faculty and staff beginning in February 2019. The training is voluntary and will include themes such as:
— What is Diversity?
— Microaggressions
— Implicit Bias
— Difficult Conversations
— Identity Development
Participants will review and discuss the book “Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria” by Beverly Daniel Tatum. (Text will be provided.)
