The women’s basketball team (14-8) had three players named All-Conference this season in the Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference.
My’Asia Alston (Cohoes/Cohoes) earned First-Team All-Conference honors, leading the Vikings in scoring with 18.3 points per game, assists with 3.7 per game, and steals with 2.8 per game.
Shikera Lawson (Albany/Albany) earned Second-Team All-Conference and was the second leading scorer on the team averaging 16.0 points per game, and led the team in rebounding with 11.8 per game. Rounding out the All-Conference teams was Samantha Tomeck (Duanesburg/Duanesburg), who earned Third-Team All-Conference, averaging 14.6 points per game.
The women received the #5 seed in this weekends Regional Tournament hosted by Onondaga Community College, and are set to take on #4 Schenectady County Community College on Friday at 7 p.m.
