Troy Rehabilitation and Improvement Program, Inc. and the State of New York Mortgage Agency will be partnering with elementary school children and community volunteers to make needed improvements to at least 20 homes and a half dozen vacant lots in the Hillside North neighborhood of Troy on May 12-13.
Projects include creating an outdoor classroom, park and lot cleanouts, and outdoor painting and facade repairs (steps, gutters, fences) for homeowners including veterans.
