Students who plan to complete their degree, certificate or other industry-recognized credential (including microcredentials) during summer 2023 and plan to start their career may be eligible for financial assistance with tuition, books and materials through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
This federal grant funding is administered by the Rensselaer County Career Center at the Workforce Development Center, located at HVCC in the Siek Campus Center. Students must complete program requirements in the summer 2023 semester and be registered in courses that begin prior to June 30 (regardless of end date) in order to qualify.
