Two Zoom Quick-Start training sessions

 

The Center for Effective Teaching offers two Zoom Quick-Start Training Sessions:

Wednesday, Jan. 20 — 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, Jan 21 — from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Both sessions cover the same content and are designed as an introduction to the Zoom Client/App and its user interfaces. Please note: Blackboard integration is NOT covered in these sessions.

These Quick-Start sessions will cover the following subjects:

  • Signing in using SSO through Zoom Web Portal and Zoom Client/App
  • Updating Zoom Client/App
  • Scheduling meetings with Zoom Client/App and from Zoom Web Portal
  • Starting meetings from Zoom Client/App and Web Portal
  • Recording your meeting
  • Accessing your recordings
  • Inviting others to your Zoom meeting
  • Joining another user’s meeting

Please make sure you have the latest version of the Zoom Client/App installed (use link below). If you cannot install the Client/App, please file an ITS support ticket (https://hvcc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1967/Portal/Home/) or call the ITS Help Desk at )518) 629-7364.

Update or install the latest Zoom Client/App version at: https://zoom.us/download

Please register in advance for either of these Zoom training sessions at the following links:

January, 20 — 1:30 to 3 p.m.

January, 21 — 10 to 11:30 a.m.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
