College leaders will provide an update on several significant projects during two special meetings for college employees to be held this month. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend or view the live stream or recordings after the events.
Fall 2022 All Academic Meeting
Monday, Sept. 19, 2 to 3 p.m.
Maureen Stapleton Theatre
All faculty members and staff working in Academic Affairs are invited to attend the inaugural All Academic Meeting on Monday, Sept. 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre, located on the first floor of Siek Campus Center. Attendees will hear from academic leaders and professors about new initiatives and recent accomplishments.
A series of brief presentations will highlight the Middle States reaccreditation process; HVCC and Questar III STEM High School; D2L implementation; HVCC North and the Applied Technologies Education Center (ATEC); micro-credential offerings; honors programming; assistive technologies; curriculum development opportunities, and more. Leaders of the Academic Senate and the Faculty Association will also offer remarks.
In-person attendance by full- and part-time faculty members and staff working in Academic Affairs is encouraged. A live video stream of the meeting will be available. (Use access link below.) No RSVP is needed.

The President’s Annual Meeting
Monday, Sept. 26, Noon to 2 p.m.
McDonough Field House
All faculty and staff are invited to join Dr. Ramsammy at the President’s Annual Meeting on Monday, Sept. 26 from noon to 2 p.m. in the McDonough Field House.
All administrative offices will be closed for the meeting. Lunch will be provided at noon, and the presentation will begin at 1 p.m.
Dr. Ramsammy will provide an update on a range of college topics, including budget and finances, enrollment, capital projects, academic and student affairs initiatives, and more.
In-person attendance is encouraged, and all attendees should RSVP online by Wednesday, Sept. 21 in order to determine an accurate count for lunch.
