As you know, our four presidential search finalists, Michael S. Brophy, Ph.D., Christopher M. Reber, Ph.D., Irene Rios, Ph.D., and J. Kyle Dalpe, Ph.D., visited campus last week for interviews and listening sessions with our college community. I’d like to share my sincere gratitude with all of you who attended those sessions and shared feedback via RH Perry’s stakeholder survey. Your input in this process is critical and will play an important role in determining who becomes the eighth president of Hudson Valley Community College.
Please know that the Board of Trustees is reviewing the feedback we received and selecting candidates to meet with the SUNY Chancellor before moving one forward for both college and SUNY Board approval. Our goal is to vote on a candidate at the March board meeting and then we will be able to seek final SUNY approval.
Thank you once again to those who participated in the search process and took the time to attend the listening sessions and share feedback, and as always, thank you for all you do for our college and students each day.
