As we continue to strive to provide exceptional service to the Hudson Valley Community College’s military population, we would like to share some updates to the HVCC website and relevant contact information. The website now includes comprehensive pages, where administrators, faculty, students, and other external parties are able to view a wealth of information pertaining to VA benefits and the certification process at HVCC.

Below is a reminder on the contact information that will be helpful when providing guidance to students that need to speak with a VA School Certifying Official in the Registrar’s Office regarding inquiries about VA benefits and certification.
- Email – The Registrar’s Office has established a designated email account to which all related military inquiries, which were previously sent to registrar@hvcc.edu, should now be sent — all email inquiries should be sent to veteransco@hvcc.edu. This will provide a central location for us to process military inquiries in a more effective manner for this population of students and will automate other military related processes in the future to better serve our military students.
- Phone – Military student inquiries that need to be transferred to the Registrar’s Office, or students provided with a phone number, should be transferred to or given the following number: 518-629-4545.
- In-person – Students can also be sent in person to the Registrar’s Office (Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 136)
- Bookings – Students can also book a virtual appointment with a School Certifying Official.
Please keep in mind that our Veterans Resource and Outreach Center (VETROC) can provide military students with services that are outside of VA benefits and certification questions that should be directed to a School Certifying Official in the Registrar’s Office. Students can reach VETROC by email: vroc@hvcc.edu, phone: 518-629-7053, or stopping by the Siek Campus Center in Room 164.
