Job Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred; and
experience in an early child care setting
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care in a nurturing child care environment.
- Provide a classroom environment that is developmentally appropriate and responsive to children’s strengths, interests and needs.
- Establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships with families, children, child care staff and collaborators.
- Complete all daycare teacher required paperwork including weekly lesson plans, weekly parent newsletters, anecdotal records, and other child care paperwork as needed.
- Establish and maintain a safe, healthy child care learning environment and be responsible for the care, cleanliness and daily preparation of daycare learning areas.
- Perform all reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director or their designee.
