The Viking Cupboard Competition currently has eight competitors bringing in 1,665 items. Thank you very much for your contributions! The competition will run until Monday, May 2 and the team with the most items collected will be awarded the Giving Cup Trophy.

Join the annual competition among Academic Departments, Student Services Departments, the Student Senate and Student Organizations to raise donations and awareness of the college’s food pantry.
Here are the details:
1. The challenge began on Monday, Dec. 6 and ends Monday, May 2.
2. Start a team within your department and collect non-perishable food items.
3. Keep track of the number of items collected and bring them to the HVCC Cupboard weekly (or as often as possible).
4. Student Activities will also keep track of the total number of items collected, and the team that collects and donates the most items will be crowned the winner.
5.The winning team will be awarded the Giving Cup Trophy to proudly display in their office until next year’s challenge.
