The men’s hockey team (2-0) defeated the Albany Americans (0-1), 6-1, on Tuesday afternoon to move to 2-0 on the season.
Hudson Valley opened the game with a 3-0 lead and never looked back. The Vikings were led by a balanced scoring attack with six different Vikings scoring in the game. Scoring for the Vikings were Mike Nelson (Chaminade/Hollywood, FL), Matt Williams (Yorktown/Mount Vernon), Adam Snyder (Queensbury/Queensbury), Brandon LaMere (Northeastern Clinton/Mooers Forks), Roman Malyshev (School No. 90/Moscow, Russia), and Storm Knight (Clear Creek/Biloxi, MS).
The Vikings host County College of Morris on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
