The Voices: A Library Lecture Series committee is pleased to present “Community Policing: New Programs and Changing Ideas” on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.
Police departments around the country are rediscovering community policing. Sgt. Matthew Dearing and Lt. Ryan Macherone of the Schenectady Police Department, along with Dennis Green, assistant director of Washington Irving Adult and Continuing Education Center in the Schenectady School District, discuss innovative programs and new ideas for a more effective policing program in Schenectady.
