The Voices: A Library Lecture Series Committee is pleased to present “Energy, Environment and a Sustainable Economy: What Does This Mean for Today’s Students?” by Bill Reinhardt on Thursday, April 25 from noon-12:50 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Marvin Library.
Bill Reinhardt, former senior project manager at NYSERDA and co-founder of SustaiNYSERDA, will discuss how peak oil and climate change issues will affect potential career paths for students. Reinhardt will explain future energy and environmental challenges, their impact on local and global economies and their effects on educational opportunities. His talk will focus on how college students can best plan their education in anticipation of this changing economy. A Q&A session will be part of the presentation, which will be followed by a small reception.
