The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s (VVMF) exhibits The Wall That Heals and Mobile Education Center will be on display at LaSalle Institute from June 5-8, 2025 as part of a visit co-sponsored by Hudson Valley Community College.
Volunteers are needed on Wednesday, June 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, June 8 beginning at 2 p.m. to set up and take down the wall. Those interested in volunteering should contact Stephen Onley at s.onley@hvcc.edu to sign up.
The Wall That Heals is a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. that tours the country each year. It honors the 58,281 service members who lost their lives and all 3+ million who served defending our country during the Vietnam War era. This is the only stop the tour will make in New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, or Connecticut this year, and the exhibit will be free and open to the public 24 hours a day from June 5-8. A full schedule and more information on the visit can be found on The Wall That Heals – Troy 2025 webpage.
