THANK YOU to all faculty who responded to the original request in February and took time to complete the survey. Sarah now is in need of more responses to effectively continue her research. Information on Sarah, her research, and a link to the survey, are provided below. All interested faculty are invited and encouraged to take a few minutes to participate. Thanks, in advance, for your contributions of time and input!
Sarah Nickerson is a doctoral candidate in Educational Leadership at Southern New Hampshire University. She is researching effective practices in online instruction. As part of her doctoral dissertation research, she is inviting any and all instructors to complete her survey on effective practices in online instruction.
Sarah is trying to determine if online instructors have similar knowledge about pedagogy as traditional instructors. Data will be collected using SurveyMonkey and participant identity will remain anonymous.
Sarah has received the approval of Southern New Hampshire University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) to conduct this research and Dr. Michael Green, vice president for Technology, Institutional Assessment and Planning, has approved her request to ask Hudson Valley Community College faculty if they would like to take part in her study. The survey should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and participants may choose to withdraw from participation at any time. Please feel free to contact Sarah with any questions (see contact information below).
