The Office of Workforce Development is pleased to offer Welding Basics , a non-credit course, during the Fall 2022 semester.
Do you have an interest in welding and would like to know where to start? This 32-hour, non-credit course provides a basic introduction to shielded metal arc welding. Upon successful completion, students will be issued a certificate. By incorporating virtual reality welders in the program, students learn the required skills more quickly compared to traditional methods.
Note: Courses taught through the Office of Workforce Development are not limited to the campus community. If someone you know outside of HVCC would like to take this or any other course through our office, they may register online or contact our office.
