As part of the year-long celebration of the Marvin Library’s 50th Anniversary, items will be placed in a Time Capsule that is scheduled to be unearthed and opened in 2070 when the library will be 100 years old!
The entire Hudson Valley Community College campus community is invited to suggest what items will be placed inside the Time Capusule to be buried during the library’s “Birthday Party” in May 2020.
Suggested items should reflect the role the Marvin Library Learning Commons plays in the lives of students, faculty and staff. The submission deadline is Monday, March 30, 2020.
Please email your suggestion(s) to Anne Rappaport, library outreach specialist. In addition to identifying the item, please include what it’s made of, its dimensions, and a brief (two to three sentence) explanation of why the item should be included in the Time Capsule.
