In order to deploy and integrate new Ellucian tools at the college, we need to make changes to the way Banner (WIReD) and Blackboard share information. Information Technology Services, Enterprise Operations, and Distance and Online Learning are collaborating and have determined that implementing a new instance of Blackboard will be the best solution.
The new instance will become available in mid-April for course development for Summer and Fall courses, and more detailed information will be available as we approach that date.
In the meantime, you can develop or edit your courses in your development (“Z” ) area. If you need new “Z” area course shells, you can request them through the Distance and Online Learning Help Desk by email at DLhelp@hvcc.edu.
