My deepest thanks and appreciation go out to all of you who took the time to reach out to me — whether in person, with a card, or by email — following the recent passing of my father.
Losing a parent never is easy, but this loss was especially difficult since my father lived with me for the past four years. The new found silence in my home is profound. The kindness and thoughtfulness expressed by all of you helps to fill that silence. The caring and compassion you show underscores what I have always known — the HVCC community is truly a family — a family to which I am proud to be a member.
