Women’s Basketball Comes Back to Beat Spartans

 

The women’s basketball team (7-6) defeated Cayuga Community College (4-10), 76-70, on Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings largest deficit of nine points in the second half was erased behind the three-point shooting of sophomore guard Erica Houle (Shaker/Latham). Houle converted four of her six total three-pointers in the second half, leading the Vikings with 24 points. Arianna Youngs (Lansingburgh/Troy) added 19 points and six steals, and Kelly Kell (Kingston/Kingston) had a career-high 15 assists while adding nine points and seven rebounds in the win.

The Vikings travel to Schenectady County Community College on Saturday, Jan. 14 for a 1 p.m. game.
