The women’s basketball team (11-7) defeated North Country Community College (10-9), 77-54, on Saturday afternoon.
My’Asia Alston (Cohoes/Cohoes) had a career-high 26 points and added 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals. Shikera Lawson (Albany/Albany) recorded a double-double, with 15 points and 16 rebounds, and Samantha Tomeck (Duanesburg/Duanesburg) added 13 points in the win.
The women travel to Mohawk Valley Saturday for a game at 1 p.m.
