The women’s basketball team (5-8) defeated Word of Life, 72-41, on Wednesday evening.
Hudson Valley jumped out to a 41-19 point lead at the half and didn’t let up in the second. Samantha Tomeck (Duanesburg/Duanesburg) led the Vikings with 21 points, and Raeshelle Frasier (Schenectady/Schenectady) recorded a double-double with 18 points and 18 rebounds.
The women host Schenectady on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader.
